The Trideum Foundation will host the second annual Grounds for Hope event this year. “Grounds for Hope” is a celebration of faith in outreach to honor those in our community who demonstrate the Gospel through charitable actions. We want to enable conversations between nonprofit organizations, churches and businesses that empower, encourage, and inspire faith-filled outreach. When the Hope of Christ is presented along with a helping hand, we provide more than just a temporary fix to an immediate problem, we champion an eternal foundation rooted in Christian love. This year, COVID has forced some major changes in our plans, but our creative team has come up with an innovative and adaptive plan.
CONCERT EVENT (CONCERT, AUGUST 27th, RECORDED STREAM SEPTEMBER 15th): This year we will also be hosting a fundraising concert for Grounds for Hope featuring Mark Lee, one of the founders of the Christian band “Third Day”. Due to the rise of COVID cases, we have modified this event to be a recording for a Live Stream concert with a limited ticketed VIP audience. Although the concert will be much smaller, now anyone will be able to see it via our Trideum Foundation Facebook page! Mark Lee will debut a new single that he wrote with our collaboration entitled “Grounds for Hope”. This new song, planned to be on his next album, puts into music the importance of hope in outreach.
AWARDS EVENT (LIVE AND LIVE STREAM SEPTEMBER 29th): The main Grounds for Hope event, featuring Mark Lee as our speaker, will be an invitation only event due to COVID, but will be available to everyone else via Facebook Live Stream. We will be presenting awards to individuals and nonprofit organizations, and our nonprofit of the year finalists will split all the proceeds from this event. At last year’s event we honored 35 different nonprofit organizations, presented 15 awards, and distributed over $40,000 in grants as over 600 people attended the event.
Although the event will be different this year, we are excited that this new Live Stream inclusive format will allow many more people to see the event. The new format is helping to set the stage for a multi-city event in 2021 for Grounds for Hope.
Especially now, with so much going on around us, the world needs more hope. That is what we hope to share with Grounds for Hope. Please consider joining us! Again, the Concert Recording will be
August 27th at 6:30PM Central Time. The Live Stream of the Concert will be released via the Trideum Foundation Facebook Page on September 15th at 7PM Central Time and the Awards event will be held Live and Live Stream at 6PM CDT on September 29th. Both the concert and the awards event will be hosted at CrossPointe Church in Madison Alabama.
