P0905ATC-CS: Cognitive Scientist/Psychologist – Aberdeen, MD
Description: Trideum has a PROSPECTIVE opening for a Psychologist to provide the Aberdeen Test Center with services in support of survivability, lethality, and vulnerability test and evaluation programs that include a requirement for Cognitive Performance Testing.
Closing Date: May 19th, 2009
As a Trideum Cognitive Scientist/Psychologist, you will use your skills to:
• Assist other Trideum team members at the Aberdeen Test Center with documented verification of the Advance Brain Monitoring's (ABM) B-Alert (workforce configuration) workload and engagement algorithms and its use in dismounted and vehicular environments;
• Assist subject matter experts with preparing a plan for verification before testing starts and perform critical duties (prepping test instrumentation and test subjects) during the test event;
• Assist in writing a report documenting the use and limitations of the ABM-B Alert system following testing and data analysis;
• Communicate across diverse levels of personnel within the DoD community effectively and in an organized manner; and
• Minimal travel required.
Minimum Qualifications:
• Candidate must have physiological instrumentation experience.
• DoD Developmental Testing experience is required.
• Candidate must have prior experience instrumenting soldiers with physiological instrumentation.
• Understanding of the relationship between cognitive workload, situational awareness and soldier performance is essential.
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Prior knowledge of the Aberdeen Test Center and the Future Combat System Program is preferred as a quick learning curve is essential to meet initial requirements; and
• The availability to work occasional extra hours to ensure project deadlines are met.
Educational Requirements: The ideal candidate will have a Bachelors degree in Psychology.
Security Clearance: REQUIRED Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Candidates with active clearance are preferred. Any formal job offer will be contingent upon the successful adjudication of the security clearance process. Active security clearance is preferred.
0905FD-MNA: Medical Analyst/Nursing Epidemiologist– Frederick/Ft. Detrick, MD
Description: Trideum Corporation is looking for a nurse with a strong statistical background to assist in the integration process of incident and injury related medical information by compiling, reviewing, and analyzing data. The chosen candidate will produce statistical analyses and reports, review analyses created by others and serve as statistical SME for the Joint Trauma Analysis and Prevention of Injury in Combat (JTAPIC) program.
As a Medical Analyst you will use your skills to:
• Serve as Subject Matter Expert to the JTAPIC program in statistics and statistical analysis.
• Review, analyze and create statistical analyses based on the medical information obtained from various information sources;
• Work with JTAPIC partners in the integration process and analysis of battle damages and injury datasets, and in generating reports for customers;
• Attend and participate in regular meetings;
• Assist in the review of statistical analysis reports and the generation of presentations.
• Communicate across multiple levels of personnel within the DoD community.
Minimum Qualifications:
• Minimum 7 years of nursing, including statistics courses, applications, working knowledge, and software.
• Working knowledge of SAS, SPSS, or other statistical analysis software.
• Strong IT skills utilizing databases and spreadsheets is required, including searching databases,creating statistical reports, and utilizing commercial software.
• High degree of confidentiality is mandatory in the handling of classified information.
• Understanding of HIPAA requirements and knowledge of DoD Privacy and Security Regulations pertaining to medical information is desired.
• Military experience is highly desired.
• Trauma experience beneficial.
• Must have excellent communication skills, organization skills and attention to detail.
• Minimal travel required.
Educational Requirements: The ideal candidate will have a degree in Nursing or related medical field. A degree in Epidemiology is a plus.
